As Spec Theatre’s visual designer, I was heavily involved in this visually rich play that toured five Canadian Fringe Festivals in 2022 as mr.coffeehead, and four in 2023 as Everything is Super Wow. I assisted with the script and videos, and made the costumes, props, puppets, and graphic design work!
Puppets
There are three puppets in the show, Panny, Helmut, and the Tent Monster. These were so fun to make!
Merchandise
Selling some merch after a show is a great way to continue fan engagement and help support the costs of touring a show and running an independent theatre company. For mr.coffeehead I made three stickers. Ones of Helmut, Panny, and a picklebone, as well as pins showing the main character, Stańczyk, played by ira cooper.
