Spec Theatre

Spec Theatre is a nimble lil’ theatre collective that creates performance-based artworks exploring contemporary society and culture through a speculative lens.

I’ve worked as Spec’s Visual Designer since 2016 working on a number of projects. Spec is a small independent theatre company and so I’ve had the opportunity to have many different roles in the production of shows. I’ve made posters and handbills, sourced costumes, created props, puppets, and set pieces, designed and run show lighting, designed pins and stickers, edited photos and video. I’ve also contributed to the writing and editing of scripts.

In 2019 I overhauled the brand, re-designing the Spec Theatre logo and website.
