Speed of Beat

This audio reactive lighting project was a collaboration between the talented Kirsten Dohmeier and myself.

The piece is constructed from wood, wire, and paper. It contains individually addressable RGB LEDs and an Arduino to orchestrate. It’s connected to a computer which uses Xcode to analyze the audio input and produce colours according to our design. The final result is a responsive piece of wall art with colors that move with the music being played!
