This project was inspired by the experience of laying in the grass on a beautiful summer day, blowing bubbles in the sun.
A series of 6, each box has its own bit of evergreen grass, and a little corked glass bottle with bubble mixture and wand. I took ready made boxes, sanded and stained them a rich deep brown. I filled the interior with foam and added two patches of green faux-fur on top for the grass. For the bottle I attached a little bubble wand into the cork, and filled the bottle with bubble mixture, and ta’da! Summer in a box!
