About Ruby

Hello, my name is Ruby Arnold and I’m an artist and designer – I make things!

I’ve been drawing, gluing and clicking for a long time. I love experimenting with different tools and finding new ways to express myself and better understand the world. My relationship with art started (and continues) with various tactile mediums such as paper, paint, and textiles. As a child of the 90s, I became fascinated with computers and software, learning to work with photo manipulation, HTML, CSS, and 3D modelling. Studying visual arts and computer science at the University of Victoria, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in 2013.

Drawing from experience in sales, education, youth leadership, theatre, and digital advertising, I now work as a freelance designer and help people solve problems with images, words, and technology.
